Accessibility statement
A website for everyone
MindzEye Inc. is committed to making our website and digital content accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. Accessibility is a reflection of our core values of inclusion, dignity and equity.
Updated November 2026 for the new website. Draft for MindzEye’s review before launch.
Our commitment
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines help make content usable for people with visual, hearing, motor, cognitive and neurological disabilities.
What this website does today
Seeing the content
- text descriptions (alt text) for every meaningful image; decorative images are hidden from screen readers
- strong color contrast between text and backgrounds, and text that stays readable when zoomed to 200%
- meaning that never depends on color alone
Moving around
- a “Skip to main content” link at the top of every page
- one main heading per page and headings in a logical order
- everything works with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline
- link and button names that make sense on their own
Forms
- every field has a label, and errors say what to fix
- the booking form moves one step at a time and moves keyboard focus to the start of each step
Motion
- if your device is set to reduce motion, the animations and the moving background are turned off
- the particle background is decorative and hidden from screen readers
Numbers and media
- animated counters are read out as their final value
- the photo gallery and video player work by keyboard and close with the Escape key
Known limitations
- some older videos may not yet have full captions
- third-party tools, such as YouTube videos and the Stripe donation checkout, aren’t fully in our control
We are working to close these gaps and welcome your feedback.
Assistive technology
The site is built to work with screen readers (such as NVDA, JAWS and VoiceOver), keyboard-only navigation, voice control and browser zoom. For the best experience, use an up-to-date browser and assistive technology.
